Trip to the warzone in Mykolaiv, Ukraine - July, 2022

My wife Jane, an RN, was in Ukraine for the month of May, delivering medical supplies and working with the UCLA Medical Team as a psych nurse in medical tents, shelters, and orphanages.

She met Jan Andersen, founder of Bright Jar Ltd. In one of the tents where refugees were crossing from Ukraine into Poland. After mentioning my ION filters to Jan, he called me, asking that I come over with filters asap, as the Special Forces he worked closely with in Mykolaiv were drinking out of puddles and radiators.

I boxed up 300 ION filters + bottles and flew to Krakow, Poland, and drove to the Ukraine border, where Jan drove us to Mykolaiv, a live war zone being shelled daily by you-know-who!

We met with the Special Forces, handed over the filters and medical supplies, and shot a short info video (see below) on the use of the ION. We took over another shipment of 100 filters in September. We expect to get feedback from the soldiers on their experience with the ION. Stay tuned!
